Stay Enchanted with Centro Sharjah

Before the start of Ramadan, my dear friend Deepti invited me for an Iftar Menu tasting event at c.taste restaurant at Centro Sharjah

Centro Sharjah is uniquely located adjacent to Sharjah International Airport and close to the business districts of Sharjah. The hotel is 15 minutes away from the city center. It features 306 rooms, three meeting rooms, a modern fitness center with a spacious swimming pool and two dining outlets, the c.Deli and c.Taste.

During the holy month of Ramadan, c.Taste Restaurant is offering delightful Iftar and Suhoor buffets with an array of Middle Eastern cuisine priced at AED 109 and AED 75 respectively. Centro Sharjah also offers Iftar and Suhoor inclusive in your room rate if you book your stay this Ramadan, an affordable package priced for as low as AED 359.

We were privileged to be the first to taste the dishes that's going to be offered during Ramadan but before dinner was served, a small cook off happened where the winning team received from the management a one night stay for two at the hotel inclusive of breakfast and dinner.

The winning tabouleh and fattoush

Among the four main dishes (technically there was five) that were served, only the grilled meat kebab is what I wasn't so happy about. Although it was seasoned well and it does taste good, the meat was already dry, probably because it was sitting on the plate for quite some time as we were taking loads of pictures. This dish must be served right after you take it off the grill.

The rest of the dishes were excellent.

There were plenty of options at the dessert station including the famous Umm Ali and Muhallabia.

My dessert plate consist of just a few of my usual favorites. The tiramisu has a very nice creamy texture however the it was too sweet for my liking, on the other hand I wished I took two extra square of the carrot cake because it was that good.

Centro Sharjah is currently running a contest and huge prizes are up for grabs including weekend holidays with flights to Salalah Rotana, Oman and Art Rotana Hotel and Resort, Bahrain. To  know more click here

  1. We are just thinking of traveling to UAE with my colleges from writersperhour.com this winter. After reading your article, "Centro Sharjah" will be one of the places we need to visit.
I just checked their web-site. Do you know is there any problems or rules for booking a table at this restaurant (do we need to book it a month or three months before, like some other restaurants in UAE)?
    Appreciate for any information.
    Thanks in advance!

    1. I don't think there is a restriction but be sure to book your table few days before dining, that way you're sure to get a table.
