Gerry's Grill Dubai

Gerry's Grill's first branch in the UAE opened in Karama, Dubai just recently. Gerry's Grill serves delicious authentic Filipino food with an emphasis on char-grilled dishes. It is a famous restaurant and bar in the Philippines with branches all over the country. They also have international branches in the US, Singapore, and UAE's neighboring countries.

This branch is halal hence no pork or alcohol. We spoke to the team and they are hoping for the best for Gerry's Grill Dubai, a licensed establishment is imminent, depending on its success.

Nonetheless, we were so happy that they are now in Dubai and closer than ever.

Live Grilling at Gerry's Grill Dubai

We were at the soft opening and tasted many of their delicious food offerings together with our friends. My favorites were grilled squid, grilled chicken, crispy beef short ribs, chop suey (stir-fry vegetables), and seafood rice.

The grilled squid was flavorful, soft, and succulent.

The grilled chicken, on the other hand, was well marinated and cooked through but not dry.

Inihaw na Manok (Grilled Chicken)

I only ate two or three spoonsful of seafood rice just to taste. It was good, my husband liked it. My friends loved it. I personally ordered the chop suey dish because that was my rice alternative. The vegetables were cooked but still have a crunch to them. Exactly just the way I like it. It was also loaded with prawns, chicken, and chicken liver.

The serving of each dish is big and it is good for two to share.

We also had sizzling kangkong, lumpiang shanghai, pancit bihon, sinigang na hipon and tanigue kilaw.
