The Art of Brunch at Movenpick Hotel & Apartments Bur Dubai

No comments:
Our brunch experience at the Art of Brunch at Fountain Restaurant, Movenpick Hotel & Apartments Bur Dubai was nothing short of grand. It was stellar. Definitely one to repeat over and over again.

Location and Ambiance

Movenpick Hotel & Apartments Bur Dubai is one easy hotel to locate. If you are taking a cab, just tell them it is opposite of American Hospital and Al Nasr Leisureland in Dubai and the driver can easily take you there. If using the metro, the closest metro would be Oud Metha metro station, part of the Green Line, but you still need to take a cab to take you to the hotel, about a five-minute drive. For those driving, finding a parking was a breeze. We could have asked for valet but the husband was in the mood of finding his own.

The weather was glorious outside that day! Surprisingly, it was also all bright and sunny inside the hotel.

It was all thanks to the high glass ceiling overhead the hotel's lobby. It lets the light in. Highlighting the grand staircase carpeted in blue tones, where a big spread of desserts was laid beautifully at the bottom of it, serving as a focal point. I can't help to imagine my daughter coming down this grand staircase on her 18th birthday. I'm sure it's going to be a dramatic entrance.

It was Friday but the restaurant was already full when we arrived and the brunch service was in full swing.  It only tells me one thing. A restaurant full of people means good food and good service. The sound of that made me all the more excited to dine here.

Have you been thinking where to go or take your family this coming weekend? If you're looking for something really nice and unique to try, then I might have just the right place for you.

We've tried Lapita Hotel Dubai's #DaycationBrunch last Friday and we really think it is something every family in Dubai must try. Especially this Friday, March 3, when adults get to eat for FREE!

More details below.

Warning: Heavy with food photos, salivating can happen, read with caution :) book tables immediately if symptoms persist.

Lapita Hotel Dubai

Lapita Hotel Dubai is a beautiful Polynesian-themed resort located in the heart of Dubai Parks and Resorts where Riverland, Legoland, Legoland Water Park, Motiongate, and Bollywood parks are right at its doorstep.

It was a long drive from where we live but it was worth it. It is one place inside Dubai that can make you feel you're somewhere in the tropics, whereas for us, feels like home. We are from the tropical islands of the Philippines but since this is a Polynesian-themed hotel, you can think of Fiji, Samoa, or Hawaii of course. Your choice, wherever you fancy. I'm sure to add this hotel to my weekend staycation destinations list.

Sufra Friday Brunch at Hyatt Regency Dubai Creek Heights

No comments:

When I mentioned to my family that I received an invitation for a Friday brunch in Hyatt, Ferald and Mica looked at each other and said kunafa in unison. I can't help but laugh and reminisce that day with them. It was at an Iftar dinner at Grand Hyatt some years ago where we had the best kunafa in town, the best we've ever had until now. Even if we tried other kunafa's already, we always say that the best kunafa can be found in Grand Hyatt.

Friday Double Brunch at Nosh Movenpick JBR

1 comment:
Another Friday yet another fantastic brunch, this time at nosh Restaurant, Movenpick Hotel, Jumeirah Lakes Towers.

We've been in this restaurant twice before and both times were amazing. You can read about our dining experiences here and here.

nosh never seizes to amaze me. The kids buffet spread inside the kids room is wonderful. This is a wow factor for families and parents like me. It was so thoughtful of nosh to actually put up something really special for the kids, one notch higher. I think even the picky eaters can't say no to these, it's not just pretty but healthy too.

I have no problem with my kids eating habits, they eat what we eat but this surely made them smile wider.
