Teachings about Positive Thinking

"Do not dwell on the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment. I never see what has been done; I only see what remains to be done." "Holding on to anger is like grasping a hot coal with the intent of throwing it at someone else; you are the one who gets burned" The teachings of Buddha holds true in my last weekend happenings. The good thing despite the fact that every planned activity did not materialized, we still went home happy and sated. Part of what inspires me was the iconic tower Burj Khalifa... Have you noticed the golden glow of the tower and the white dot in the sky, the effect is due to the sun setting and the white dot was actually the moon (photos were by my phone camera) and the beautiful Downtown Dubai No matter how upset we are, we can always find something to cheer us up, we just have to look around. If we dwell on our frustrations, we don't know what we

Heavy Rain Lashes Dubai!

When we say Middle East, it is usually hot and dry and some people are asking whether it is raining in this part of the world. The answer is yes of course but not all the time , maybe once, twice or three times during winter. Those of us who are used to rainy weather like the Philippines misses rain so much that's why when it rains, we are among the happiest people around here. Once we captured in video, the rain coming from the Northern Emirates towards Dubai and the video here in the post is what I am talking about. Happy winter everyone , let us enjoy it while it last.

Dubai Skyline

The best way to capture the Dubai skyline is to go a bit far from it. These photos were taken at dawn from Ras Al Khor or from Dubai Al Ain road using my Sony cybershot camera. did you notice that pointed building that dominates the skyline view? That's the Burj Khalifa - the tallest building in the world While the sun was setting - see that golden glow?

If you are a holder of Ajman drivers license and you want to transfer it to Dubai, I have enumerated for you the following steps to follow. I wrote this to help those people who wishes to transfer their drivers license from Ajman to Dubai. During my time, I find it hard to figure out how to do it and I have to go to RTA offices three times just to get all the information I need. I tried searching the internet for help but no recourse. I also called RTA offices but I cannot get the right information that I needed through the phone so I decided to go there myself. I have a Dubai driver's license from the beginning so I don't have a problem however my boss holds an Ajman driver's license and he wants it transferred to Dubai. How did I do it? Here's how. 1. Get an NOC from Dubai RTA addressed to Ajman Muroor ( its free of charge), you can either go       to Al Barsha Br. or to Deira Br. behind Dubai Police General HQ. 2. Submit the NOC, your original Ajma

History Unveiling-Burj Khalifa Inauguration

Burj Khalifa also known as Burj Dubai, the tallest building in the world today measuring 828 m tall was inaugurated last night parallel to the 4th year accession of His Highness Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. Eight skydivers appeared in the sky carrying UAE flags landed in front of Sheik Mohammad, there were also the spectacular breathtaking fireworks that lit the building up to its full height while the dancing fountain below was continuously dancing in synchronization with the fireworks display, thousands of spectators’ crowded Dubai Mall promenade and surrounding area. I watch it on the live telecast of Dubai One on TV at home and from the window in my room as it is the actual view from there. It was really a wonderful view. Here are some of the pictures to share to you.
