After a long day of sightseeing in Khorfakkan, we ended our day with a nice and delicious dinner at a seafood restaurant located in Khorfakkan Fish Market.
Khorfakkan, UAE's Hidden Gem
Khorfakkan has grown popular in the last couple of years. Thanks to the Sharjah government's initiative to revive and redevelop this unique part of the city, we have new places to explore.
Khorfakkan means “Creek of Two Jaws”, is an enclave of Sharjah, tucked into the emirate of Fujairah. It centers on Khorfakkan Bay, home to the curved Khorfakkan Beach and a deep-sea port.
If you want to get the most of Khorfakkan, I suggest dedicating a full day or two to it.
Your Khorfakkan itinerary sightseeing must include Shees Park, Wadi Sheesh, Rafisa Dam, Al Miqsar Village, Al Rabi Tower (Al Rabi Hiking is optional, or do it the next/another day), Khorfakkan Park & Open Beach, Boat Trip to Shark Island, Khorfakkan Waterfall, Khorfakkan Amphitheater and Khorfakkan Fish Market. There is so much to see and do in this not so sleepy town. You wouldn't regret seeing Khorfakkan. The best time to go is from November to March when the weather is good.

With the tallest title comes the Highest View Lounge, the highest restaurant in the Middle East situated at 280m from the ground with 360-degree views of the Dubai skyline. It is at HC Level or the 75th floor.
Ferald surprised me with a pre-Valentine dinner date at this restaurant last Thursday. Trying something new, something quite fancy this time. A welcome change from the usual daily errand dates we used to make. If you get what I mean. (hahaha)
It was a lovely night, all of Dubai was twinkling. It was an incredible view. A bit chilly since we are only in February but I am not complaining. It was actually great up there and since we were dressed for the occasion, we didn't need to ask for a blanket but if you ever need it, it is provided. All you need is to ask.

Salt or sugar? You'll find it both at the Salt Pop-up Camp located in DIFC. It only lasts until 30 January, so hurry.
Mouthwatering Wagyu burgers or decadent desserts and all other good stuff to make you a happy camper is available. Choose your orders at the cool food or desserts museum before getting billed at the counter. Food is served at your campsite.
Our happy campers enjoyed their time at the camp.
