Palawan: Mangrove Paddle Boat Tour

No comments:
On our second day in Palawan (August of 2016), the Mangrove Paddle Boat Tour is one of the two side tours/trips that we enjoyed doing. It is a great side tour for anyone visiting Puerto Princesa Underground River.

The Mangrove Paddle Boat Tour aims to help the locals earn a living whilst protecting the environment and educating visitors about the importance of mangroves to the ecosystem of Palawan.

It actually occurs to me that it could be a mundane activity. I was wrong. It was just because I was looking forward to doing the Ugong Rock adventure and it wasn't offered to us. It was something not everyone in my family will enjoy so we push through with the mangrove forest tour.

Dubai: Sunrise At The Top of Burj Khalifa

No comments:

Burj Khalifa construction began in September 2004. We saw what will be the tallest tower in Dubai and the world today slowly rise up from the ground until it was inaugurated five and a half years later in January 2010.

I've always wanted to go up there since it opened. Now the long wait is over. I finally get to tick it off my bucket list. My family and I went up to the observation deck of Burj Khalifa located at the 124th and 125th floor of the tower and watched the sunrise painted the whole of Dubai in golden hues. We literally saw Dubai awaken that day. Observed it unobstructed with 360 degrees view 452/455 meters above the ground. I've Instagrammed photos of Burj Khalifa so many times from different vantage points before, but this time it is the other way around. I'm taking photos of Dubai from where I stand, At The Top of Burj Khalifa itself.

Valentine's Day at Liwan Restaurant

No comments:
When we ask people what does Valentine's Day mean to them, we get all sorts of answers. For me, Valentine's Day is the day we give reverence to love and to the ones we chose to give and share it with. It could be to your wife, husband, parents, siblings, pet, plant, partner, or yourself. There's no right or wrong way to feel about Valentine's Day.

So how do we celebrate Valentine's Day? Well, it is always different for me and Ferald every time. It could be a dinner date or a movie date or a combination. There were times when we chose to go out as a family. What about you? How do you celebrate Valentine's Day? Do you have plans for it already?

If you are still on the lookout for things to do, let me tell you something.

Last week, Ferald and I attended Liwan Restaurant's Pre-Valentine's Day Event at Al Ghurair Rayhaan by Rotana.

Evenings At Gloria Hotel Dubai: Spa + Dinner

No comments:
I love a good massage. But what I like the most are the foot massage and a full body massage.

My love for a good body massage started at home, with my mom. Whenever I am feeling under the weather or have an aching limb, my mom would heat up some oil, grill some calamansi (calamansi is a type of citrus fruit found in the Philippines) squeeze the juice of the calamansi into some warm oil, mix it and apply it all over my body before giving me the most comforting massage. It never fails to put me to sleep and just like magic, heals me.

My mom lives miles away from me now and I don't have that luxury anymore. Good thing, we have plenty of spas in Dubai whom I can turn to when I need some pampering.

The latest one I've tried was the one located at Gloria Hotel

It's called Dreamworks Spa!
