Pinoys in the UAE to Raise Funds for Typhoon Haiyan Victims

To all Kabayans in the UAE, the UAE community is conducting a fund raising event on Friday November 15, 2013 at Zabeel Park Amphitheater/Megabowl  from 8 am - 5 pm for the victims of typhoon Yolanda in the Visayas region in the Philippines. There will be donations boxes by Red Crescent Society in coordination with Red Cross Philippines. There will be lots of activities for the whole family. Filipinos United for a Cause



Brunch-For-A-Cause organized by FilCom Dubai and NE  will be held on Friday at the POLO-OWWA compound in Al Qusais from 11 am to 4 pm at a minimal cost of AED 50.00 The office will also be accepting donations in kind. All proceeds will be sent to our kababayans who needs our support in this trying times.

Have you ever wondered who are the Filipino RJs (Radio Jockeys) of Tag 91.1 you are listening to everyday here in Dubai? Me and my husband used to think that Maria Maldita voice with her Uwian Na with Maria Maldita show sounds like it's coming from a huge frame. Another friend said he is falling in love with Louie Da-Costa of Gandang U-maga with Daddy Bluebird because she has a very beautiful and enchanting voice. To stop assuming, the ever curious me searched for them to put a face behind the voices.

Please don't mislead the world about our country's facts, he is not our national hero although he is a national icon now for his success.

I can't believed CNN can do this, simply put Manny right next to Jose Rizal unless otherwise they mean something else in doing so but whatever is their reason it's not acceptable. period.
