Sir Loin & Sons Food Truck at Kite Beach

No comments:
Dubai (and UAE as a whole) is blessed with beautiful stunning beaches and it did a great job in transforming these beautiful beaches into extraordinary public spaces for living for the benefit of its people: locals, residents or tourist alike.

Kite Beach for example. It is no longer just a place to bake in the sun and swim in the turquoise water, it also provides a venue for people to live an active lifestyle. You can stay all day at Kite Beach and you'll never run out of things to do and when you feel hungry, there are so many food outlets to chose from.

One of them is the newly opened Sir Loin & Sons Food Truck by Food Truck & Co.

They serve gourmet food from loaded fries to super soft and moist beef brisket.

Super Chix Riverland Dubai Grand Opening

No comments:

We love a good chicken meal. I personally like chicken wings or chicken tenders. Three to four pieces is enough to fill me up.

Ferald and I liked one place before that serves some good chicken wings and whenever hunger strikes, we would always pass by this restaurant on our way home to order the same chicken wings meal every single time.

Unfortunately, the product was promotional and was discontinued so we were on the hunt again...

and I think, we've found it! The joint is located in a beautiful setting with a lovely sunset. I promise it is worth the trip.

Steak & Sizzlers Festival at Al Bustan Centre & Residence

No comments:
Steak is always a good idea.

Steak for brunch on a Friday is an even better idea and it was one of the reasons why last Friday was really awesome!

The second reason is, it was Ferald's day off. It was the first Friday that Ferald spent this day with us after two months (although those two months felt like forever.) His absence was work-related so we can't really complain but our weekends are never the same without him. Last Friday was an official family day out after eight weekends.

We pop over to Al Bustan Centre & Residence FOOD COURT for lunch to sample their Steak and Sizzlers Festival dishes. From 11 to 21 of January, from 12 noon to 11 pm every day, diners can enjoy a delicious steak and mouth-watering sizzlers at amazing prices. The steak and sizzlers promo is good for 10 days only and I recommend you take advantage of it.

When I called Wyndee, she asked me to go to the food court. When we arrived, a long table, all dressed up in white linen was waiting for us. The staff, the F&B Manager - Ms. Vicky and their Executive Chef, Chef Bhupal Tamang was also there to meet us.

Palawan: 25+ Captivating Photos of Puerto Princesa

No comments:

When I look at my Instagram feed, I always scroll back to the part where I posted so many beautiful photos of Puerto Princesa, Palawan. I can't get over it. It was such an amazing place. I fell in love with it and can't help daydreaming about it over and over again.

I wasn't able to write about it though until now. I guess I was overwhelmed by its beauty. I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to give justice to it. Honestly, I think no one can. It is such a beautiful place and you know I'm not exaggerating. It's one of those places that you have to see even for at least once in your life.

Palawan has always been one of my dream destinations so when we had the chance to visit it last year, I never hesitated. It was such a wonderful experience for me and my family that it deserves to be written here. Of course, shared to all of you. Ultimately, for us to have an online diary of our trip.

Finally!!! Here are some of my favorite photos from our Palawan trip last year. It was taken using just our iPhones but still, they look beautiful. I hope you enjoy looking at these photos. I'll soon be writing separate posts about our trip in the coming weeks, so please do come back.

Dubai: Photo Diary Of Our First Visit to Riverland at Dubai Parks and Resorts

No comments:
Hello everyone, sorry for being MIA. I was lacking the motivation to update the blog but I need to pick myself up from this January blues. I thought that sharing something nice to all of you will do the trick.

The first week of January wasn't actually busy for us except that the kids went back to school. We spent the first day of 2017 visiting a new Dubai attraction. We went to Riverland.

Riverland is the gateway to Dubai Parks & Resorts. A themed, fun, dining and retail destination which you can access without purchasing a ticket except but one. This should not put you off though because inside was amazing and it was worth every penny.  If you are visiting with your car, you will need a parking ticket. The cost of the ticket for regular guest is AED 50 and the VIP entrance parking ticket is AED 150.

From the parking lot, a shuttle bus service will take you to the first stop which is Riverland. Riverland has four zones. The French Village, The Peninsula, India Gate, and the Boardwalk.

I love the French Village the most. It gives you the feeling that you are traveling back in time with the setting of the Medieval era with beautiful and rustic architectural designs of the 16th century. Water wheel, brick roads, meandering alleyways, and towers will draw you in.
