Maternity Wear (Part III)

3 comments:
Hello there! Welcome to Maternity Wear Part III.

I am happy with this series that I've come up with. I am hoping that I am able to give you some ideas on how to dress yourself up when you are pregnant. Hopefully I can share more ideas before the big day.

Some women feel that they are looking ugly at this period because of so many reasons and that one needs constant encouragement that she still looks beautiful at this time. We ladies always wanted to look charming and sexy especially to the eyes of our partners. I advice those husbands to give extra compliment and show more sweetness to your wife this time that she need the boost of morale.

Thank God it's Thursday! Weekend again! Thursday is our jeans day in the office but sad to say, I don't fit in my regular jean size anymore and I am not planning to buy any maternity jeans at all so this is what I wore today. I could not think of any particular outfit this morning but I remember a colorful stripes tank top that Jeah gave me last Christmas. Thanks again Je :D. Here are the accessories that go with the outfit. This time I stick to silver and black. I always value comfort most especially for clothes and shoes. So far here is what I have come up with. Three wardrobe capsule that I really enjoyed putting together and wearing as well. Much of the influence in blogging about the outfits I am wearing daily now came from a blog called you look fab dot com. Being more fashion concious is such a pretty good idea for me. Thank you Angie and to all yfl forum members.

Maternity Wear (Part II)

No comments:
I was blog hopping in one of my favorite fashion blog and reading about "Maternity Style at 8 Months Pregnant" at youlookfab.com. It is really inspiring that expectant mothers like me put extra effort to keep themselves beautiful and sexy even on the later stage of their pregnancy. I love the outfits that Patience stylishly put together for herself everyday even on a very busy schedule.

This is the outfit that I have come up for today. It is comfortable, it keeps me warm and the accessories are very colorful, it simply brightens my day.
It is not impossible to be fashionable even if you are wearing economical garments, it does not matter if you bought it from a secondhand shop, what's expensive is your style and your sense of fashion and how you dress yourself appropriately in every place and occasion. Have a happy and wonderful day. Cheers!

Maternity Wear (Part I)

I have less than thirty days in my pregnancy and believe me I am starting to grow tired of waiting. You know that feeling when the deadline is near? I have mixed emotions already. :D.

The most challenging stage of working while pregnant is corporately clothing a growing belly. Now that I am in the last month and is expecting to pop any time soon, I still wanted to look my best.
I really had a hard time working on my maternity wardrobe as I cannot use the ones I had during my first pregnancy, they became old and worn out through the years, my first and second child’s gap is five years, so imagine how long they are hanging out in my closet and even I kept them on proper storage, they still don’t stand the test of time. I did not buy a lot of maternity clothes but what I did is invest on important pieces like good maternity pant/slacks, my sister-in-law hand me down 2 cute little dresses, a large size pants and I used the rest of available pieces in my closet and I survived the last eight months.

I wanted to keep pictures of me while pregnant, like a memorabilia. Apart from that, I want my child to see how his mommy looks like when he is still inside my tummy. I have very few photos of me when I was pregnant with my daughter, I will post it here soon. For now, this is what I wore today in the office.

Please forgive the photos they are mobile downloads.

Christmas Wishlist #1 and #2

4 comments:
Christmas is just around the corner and it is the best time of the year for me. There is no other holiday that excites me the way I get excited about Christmas and of course New Year. Me and my husband almost finished shopping for Christmas presents for our friends and loved ones and are now waiting to be wrapped in fancy shiny colorful papers with beautiful ribbons of red and green.
Today is exactly ten days before Christmas and I wonder if I will received any gifts from anyone. It doesn't matter at all whether I will get one or not, what I like to do is to distribute gifts to friends and loved ones that I carefully pick and wrap for them when the clock strikes twelve on Christmas eve along with my hugs and kisses. I hope they will like what we've got for them.
I wanted to write a wish list this time...not to give you the idea of what you can give me :) but what I really wanted to get for myself when I have enough cash to stash.
Wish list # 1 - A Red Wallet
My sister once told me that a red wallet energize your finances. These are the most auspicious and excellent for generating more money according to Feng Shui. Why not, red also drives away evil and plus I have been hanging around for long with the black Francois Marithe Girbaud wallet I have. It is time to get a new one.
Wish list # 2 - A New Mobile Phone

This is the phone that I am using now. I bought it last September 2006 so that means that we have been together thru thick and thin for the last 3 years. Mind you it is really the best phone I had in years. It is in its best condition only needing to change the cover but it functions so well that I really scared to let it go. My N70, my companion, my on the go camera, my mirror for its front camera, my iPod, it's everything to me. I might keep it or give it to my mom when I decided to ditch it with the iPhone above. Hopefully I will get it soon. Wish me luck. Need to start shelling out some money in my piggy bank.
I actually do not remember how many phones I had, well I do, I change phones only four times, yes only four times... I am not a phone enthusiast who changes phone whenever something new came out in the market but I carefully choose which phone I wanted to buy then when I have it I will tell myself how long I wanted to keep it and use it as long as it is working and serving me its purpose, getting connected with people and a tool for my daily use.
I intend to list at least 10 things in this wish list and I will be thinking harder for tomorrow. I wanted to add here the things that I really wanted and what my heart desires. So please keep coming back and see what's up for tomorrows post.
The thing is we don't get things immediately when we say we wanted it. But keeping in mind what we really want keeps us on track and we set goals to get it.
